My House

I moved from New York in 2000 and, with the money my landlord gave me to abandon my lease, bought a house in Mineral Wells, Texas.  It was practically a derelict.   Troy and I had to redo everything.  Here’s the front of the house.  Note the wooden fence on the left which is new as of this summer:

I built a fish pond right at the back door, so you have to cross a bridge to get to the carport. The fishpond and bridge took me all one summer.

In the back, I built my own little Stonehenge.

Also in back I have my black iris.

Here’s the waterfall in my pond.

I live on the second floor. This is my office. It’s not cleaned up. This is where I write.
